The National Vintage Racing Association, Inc. issued a charter to the Georgia Chapter in August of 2005. The Georgia Chapter of the NVRA operates under the guidelines of the bylaws of the NVRA as a 501c7 non-profit organization.

The Georgia Chapter of the NVRA supports the mission of the NVRA by promoting vintage stockcar racing, and seeks to help preserve the history of automobile racing within the State of Georgia . All members of the Georgia Chapter of the NVRA are members in good standing of the NVRA.
